I’m having trouble understanding how long it takes for internet to be activated I just received my new modem was trying to set it up for 45 mins couldn’t get the Xfinity app to work so I contacted support and they said because my account isn’t activated I can’t set it up does anyone know how long it’ll take before they activate it

Thank you for joining our Community and sharing your Internet service activation process. I can imagine how bothersome it can be when things don't immediately work as expected.
The activation should complete when you plug in the modem, and the modem flashes a white light. At this point, you should be able to sign in to the Rogers Xfinity app and follow the instructions to set up your home network.
