Can't contact my family in Alberta from Ontario.

I just have a couple of questions to get started:

• Is the issue specific to Alberta area codes? 
• Are you having issues calling Alberta numbers as well? 
• Are you able to send out SMS to numbers in Ontario?
• Are you able to receive SMS from your family members? 
• Have you tried to reboot your device to see if it resolves the issue?

Just need a bit more info to assist you further.
