@bazaar With DOCSIS (cable) Internet, there is inherently a certain amount of latency that you just cannot get rid of. Even in my case, with a node that is not overloaded, where I attain better-than-advertised upload and download speeds, ping RTTs to a well-connected Internet site (such as 8.8.8.8) average in the 20 - 35ms range. I sometimes get latency spikes of up to 50 ms, and occasional latency spikes of well over 100 ms. There is absolutely nothing that I can do, no money that I can spend to improve on this. Even with a faster Internet speed, it doesn't feel faster because you cannot reduce the latency.
If your Internet performance is significantly worse than my baseline, it could be due to an overloaded fibre node. Poor line conditions or noise ingress can also result in packet loss. In either case, you can send a private message to @CommunityHelps and ask them to investigate.
This is a user-supported forum so simply posting here will not typically get a response from Rogers other than an invitation to contact the @CommunityHelps team for further assistance.

Given @57 's good ping stats, I thought I would run a quick test for comparison.
Ping statistics for 8.8.8.8:
Packets: Sent = 300, Received = 300, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 7ms, Maximum = 25ms, Average = 14ms
Ethernet-connected Windows PC. I'm also running my Gateway in Bridge Mode and using my own network hardware.
Results do seem better than usual today. Perhaps because it is Mother's Day?
These ping RTTs are about as good as you can get with DOCSIS and may not be typical.
